- Instance Data
We store information about your instance. This contains the URL, Jira Version, installed Jira for Outlook addon version and license data.
These data are sent to our server during the initial registration. They are send via the browser of the user - Jira does not need to be connected to the internet. - User DataWhen installing the addin, we get name and email address of each user. This is used for educational emails as well as distributing updates.
- Configuration Data
All settings you make in the Admin area like default settings or template settings are stored on our servers so we can distribute them to the Outlook clients. - Transactional data
To identify related Jira issues across devices, we save mappings of email IDs and Jira issue keys. This looks like the following
