Open the following link in a new tab: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens
Press Create API Token
You can now choose a label. We recommend something you relate to the Outlook Add-in: e.g. Jira for Outlook
Choose Create
You'll now see your API Token - copy it to Clipboard
Back in Outlook, use Ctrl + V on Windows or Cmd + V on Mac to insert the copied token
