If your Jira Cloud has not been prepared by the Admin, the addin add-in will ask you to login with username and API Token. An API Token is a like a password that allows the addin add-in to use Jira in on your namebehalf.

Instructions
Open the following link in a new tab: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens
Press Create API Token
You can now choose a label. We recommend something you relate to the Outlook Addadd-in: e.g. Jira for Outlook
Choose Create
You'll now see your API Token - copy it to Clipboard
Back in Outlook, use Ctrl + V on Windows or Cmd + V on Mac to insert the copied token

Once you close the popup with the API Token, you'll never see the API Token again. If you forgot to copy it, you'll need to delete it and create a new one. |
