REST API is not yet supported for this mailbox

When installing the Office add-in, you get the following error:

This usually indicates that the mailbox you are trying to use the Office add-in with is located on an on-premise Exchange server. In this case, you might need to install the add-in via the Exchange Admin Center.

We do recommend to look into the COM add-in though, as it’s working much better with Exchange.
