4.1 What to do if Jira base URL has changed?

When the Jira base URL changes, you'll need to do some additional steps to restore functionality with Outlook.

  1. First, please visit the admin area of Jira, and go to our admin panel (Outlook App → General Configuration). The addon should auto-detect the URL change and show you the following dialog:

2. Please click "Update". The second option is only relevant, if you created a clone of a system and it should live besides the original system. Usually, "Update" is the correct choice.

3. Now it will be necessary to update the Outlook clients. This usually should happen automatically within a few hours, but you can trigger this manually. Please go to the setting menu in Jira for Outlook and click "Logout".

4. Now click "Refresh System Information" and log in again - done!
