When activating the Teams feature in Microsoft 365 for Jira, you can now individually define when you and your team should be notified about any linked issue changes in Microsoft Teams via the Jira bot.
This setting can only be adjusted & defined by the Jira admin. The setting will be applied globally for all Jira projects.
Get always notified
When selecting all possible options in the Teams settings, you will be notified in Microsoft Teams via our Jira bot about any changes made to the related issue.
This makes sense with critical Jira issues. Being informed about any change on the issue is necessary then.
Get specifically notified
Of course, you can change the settings to your needs. There might be issues where it is not necessary to be informed about any little change. Thus, simply tick off respective options in the settings.
