Atlassian Cloud Premium customers can set up a Jira Cloud allowlist to specify which IP addresses are permitted for product access. For more details, visit the Atlassian Support page on specifying IP addresses for product access. This allowlist enables you to control the traffic that can access your Jira Cloud instance.

Implementing these IP allowlists can restrict certain interactions with our application. Since our services depend on a connection between our servers and the server hosting your Jira instance, you may need to add two of our IP addresses to the allowlist to utilize the following features:

  • Automations

Currently, we face a technical limitation where, even if our IPs are allowed, requests cannot be processed when customers use our Outlook add-in to create Jira issues directly from Outlook. For more information, refer to the Create new Jira issues in Outlook guide. Due to the nature of our plugin operating through another proxy, allowing the IPs will not resolve this issue.
