Global AI settings EXPERIMANTAL STAGE
Within the general settings of Microsoft 365 for Jira, you can enable AI features. This will allow certain processes to use AI to assist or change outcomes. We use the following LLM: Model meta.llama3-1-8b-instruct-v1:0, hosted on AWS Bedrock.
Current AI features
You will be able to customize more AI-powered features in the future. As of now, you can summarize chats in a Jira comment via AI.
Without AI, when you create a chat backup, keywords of the discussion will be added as internal comment. With AI features activated, AI replaces the keyword comment posted to an issue with an AI summary of the chat (chat backups only, in the language of the chat).
Side note: When you’re communicating via the Teams portal app, the chat summary is structured in Problem, Steps, Solution.
