The Outlook availabilities area, visible in each issue sidebar view, is the heart of the app.
It shows the availabilities of users involved with this issue and suggests meeting times based in their Outlook calendar.
How does it work?
The screen is splitted in two features:
Involved persons
First it shows the availabilities based on the Outlook calendar for each person. (see screenshot)
Based on the configuration, large avatars are mandatory persons, smaller avatars are configured as optional.
Next Meeting Slots
Meeting slots are automatical calculated on multiple factors and considers:
- Outlook calendar entries
- Timezones of all users
- Configured working hours of the person
It gives two meeting suggestions:
- The first meeting time that works for you and all mandatory participants
- The second one that works for everybody in the issue
To schedule a meeting, just click on the time and it will open the Schedule Meeting dialog.
