Confluence Url

The first thing our add-in will ask you, is the Confluence Url.

For Confluence Cloud, this is easy: https://your-name.atlassian.net/wiki

How to use an API Token

An API Token is a like a password that allows the add-in to use Confluence in your name. As it is like a password, please keep the API Token secret.

Get an API Token

  1. Open the following link in a new tab: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/api-tokens

  2. Press Create API Token

  3. You can now choose a label. We recommend something you relate to the Outlook Addin: e.g. Outlook Meetings for Confluence

  4. Choose Create

  5. You'll now see your API Token - copy it to Clipboard

  6. Back in Outlook, use Ctrl + V on Windows or Cmd + V on Mac to insert the copied token
