Jira requirements
Jira Cloud
On Jira Cloud, there are no special requirements, everything is supported out of the box.
Jira Server / Jira Data Center
We always support the versions of Jira Server / Jira Data Center that are also in active support from Atlassian. That means, once a Jira version is no longer supported by Atlassian, we will require the next-previous version with the next update of the app.

Microsoft requirements
We strongly recommend that every user has an active full Microsoft 365 business or education subscription to use our app.
While some of the functionality might work in self-hosted (Exchange) or hybrid scenarios, support for this is always flaky, due to limitation on the Microsoft side.

Outlook Email for Jira needs an Outlook client with Requirement Set 1.4
Outlook Exchange and Client support
COM add-in
COM add-ins are installed locally on the computer, so they are only available for Windows.
It purely installs into local app data folder, so no admin privileges are required.
