Licensing & Pricing

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active. When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance. If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps. Note: While yasoon's apps having features specific to Jira Service Management and Jira Software, they are technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply. The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows: Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price. Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user. Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased. However, MS365 for Jira offers for non-Jira users wide perspectives such as a Board view in MS Teams or a JSM Portal in Teams without have to pay these users (non Jira users).

The number of users that you’ll have to pay for will always match the paid seats for the Jira instance. So if you have 10 paid agents users and 50 (free) customer users (that can only raise tickets from the portal), you’ll only have to license 10 users (which would be free in this case, as our app is free for up to 10 users). However, if these customer users are having a Jira Software license they need to be paid (see above).

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

An Evaluation license will remain Active for a minimum of 30 days. However all licenses on a subscription are checked only during the customer’s recurring billing date (including Evaluation licenses). This could result in an Evaluation license remaining active for up to 59 days. For example, a customer with a monthly Jira Cloud subscription has a recurring billing date on the 13th of every month. If they start an app Evaluation on June 14, its license will only have a duration of 29 days by July 13 (the next billing date). This means the license will remain Active until the following billing date (August 13); by then, the Evaluation license will have stayed Active for 59 days.

You might not be able to get a license after the end of your trial period and receiving an error like “your license is expired” or “Unfortunately we couldn’t complete your subscription to ….. at this time. Try again later”. If apps have missed payment, that tends to be the most common cause for being suspended. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While yasoon's apps having features specific to Jira Service Management and Jira Software, they are technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply. However, MS365 for Jira offers for non-Jira users wide perspectives such as a Board view in MS Teams or a JSM Portal in Teams without have to pay these users (non Jira users).

Yes, yasoon’s MS365 for Jira app is a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app. Learn more about Data Center approved apps

Because the yasoon’s MS365 for Jira app has a Data Center approved version, you should purchase a Data Center license for the app. If you already own a server license for this app, you can continue using the server license in your Data Center product for a limited period of time.
