It allows customers to pick their preferred meeting times without needing to wait for agents to send meeting requests. This documentation is designed to help users understand and use the Microsoft Bookings integration feature effectively. Here are the options how to schedule meetings with Microsoft 365 for Jira. Each booked meeting is connected to a specific issue, making it easier to track and manage:

• Agent to user integration: As a feature in Jira, agents can set up meetings based on when users are available.

• Bookings link sharing: Agents can send a link that lets customers choose a time that works for them.

Sharing booking links

Agents can share an issue specific link with customers. When customers click the link, they can select a time for their meeting.

Booking process

When a customer books a time, the system sends a notification that includes a link to the related issue. The system checks for specific details to ensure the meeting is linked to the right issue. A dispatcher manages the meeting creation process, following the rules set in the system.

Enable Microsoft Bookings

We recommend using a service user to enable bookings. Any Microsoft user can serve as a service user, but we recommend choosing one not tied to an individual to prevent workflow disruptions if roles change.
